I'm not going to go into what my thoughts are about this piece because it will turn into a ramble of thoughts worse than any avalanche of rubber balls that has ever been witness by human kind. Plus, I'm all out of girl scout cookies. *whimper* What I will say is that this is a very visually intriguing piece of art. It invites the viewer to take a seat along with the two already in attendance and join in the conversation, as it were. The stark simplicity allows the eye to rest on the pure forms and lines and I find that very restful. It encourages contemplation. Hmmm. Now isn't that unexpected? *lol* Your artistic eye really shows thru in this pic. *applauds* Em Beslar replies: "EXcellent... that's exactly what I wanted! Kind of. With the simple forms and such. I don't think I knew that's what I was shooting for at the time, but what you said sounds right... that's kind of funny. I'm glad this picture made you do more than skim over it with your eyes, that means a lot!" | |
