Dragons have pearls of wisdom, wyrms have their orb. While dragonpearls are rumoured to be infinite sources of spiritual wisdom, the stories about wyrmorbs are much more basic. They simply turn everything into gold.

Naturally, the orbs are a much more popular target for heroic quests than the dragonpearls. Of course, nobody knows for certain if these stories are true. Every thief stupid enough to try and steal an orb ended up as a wyrmfood.

Meanwhile, the wyrms are very happy with this arrangement. Their food walks right into their layers, like a free delivery service. The adventuring heroes make a very nice snacks between meals for the beasts, which is of course the main reason the wyrms put the rumour out there.

Wyrms and Globes are just an awesome combination. Had lots of fun with coloring this while trying to maintain all the good things of the basic gray original.
