How was your christmas honey?

41 Debbie Newcomb replies: "I had a good Christmas. Would this celebration be without a good, long car ride to hang out with the family and much younger cousins? Ah well, I got through it OK. ^_^"

22 Debbie Newcomb replies: "um.... yeah the novel.... *ahem sings along to Bohemian Rhapsody, ignoring the question* ^_^ i actually have 160 comments now. i feel so loved. my new year was pretty gewd. although it's not as cool now as it used to be to have another new year.... ^_^ *gasp* why would you stop writing? i see slowing down a little but stopping altogether?! why? please don't, there's no other Naomi!! *tears up and cries*"

Aw, your main page looks even more lonely than mine *pats it comfortingly* I decided to wander around the woods a bit and try to make some more friends, also means I can procratinate trying to write some more on my novel ... my muses are showing a shocking lack of enthusiasm. I think they're on a sugar low after all of that Easter chocolate. XD Alright, I'm off to read! Huzzah!

62 Debbie Newcomb replies: "ah yes. procrastination..... and spell check! i love it so much... anyway. thanks! i'll need to repay you in comments now. ^_^ i can understand about the muses being.... not here. mine have been doing that a bit too. *shrugs* ah well. i suppose they'll come back someday when i'm staring at the screen....."

I think mine might be on the comback ... maybe, I don't want to jinx myself, but I got a wee bit done today, and I have all day tomorrow to work on pieces, so hopefully they will be extra motivated. XD What is your favorite style of writing for yourself? What style of novels do you like to read? Mine would probably have to be old fashioned fantasy, with a strong female protagonist ... and of course, a little romance thrown in. I think that is my favorite for writing and for reading. Though I do try to experiment with my writing styles.

58 Debbie Newcomb replies: "hm. for writing.... i guess fiction with romance... and i tend to have female main characters who kick @$$ ^_^ about the same for novels but i don't make such a distinction about the main character. i can read and write stuff without romance but it's such a strong theme in so much of our media that sometimes it's hard not to."

ohmigod, I'm so sorry! Can you forgigve mefor being so horribly neglectful? As a please-forgive-me-preset, I'll put a link to you on my page...^_^'

ahem. So! How is the novel? *pokes* Don't worry, I'm not leaving Elfwood.

1 Debbie Newcomb replies: "Sure I forgive you. I don't even remember what it was you should have been doing. ^_^ Thanks. ^_^ I'm more farther-er on the novel.... actually I just need to put the lime in the coconut or the meedley transitioning into the squeedly and then it will be aaaaaaaaaall done. .....and ready for monster amounts of editing..... ^_^ huzzah! you're staying!!! ^_^"

Dangit! Where has false pretenses gone?

4 Debbie Newcomb replies: "I killed it. bwhahahahahahahahaha! I had look up which story that was... maybe I should have better titles. I didn't really like it and my shelf looked rather imposing. Since you asked about it maybe I'll rewrite it..... someday. ^_^"

Heya, I've just received tons of lovely comments from you on 'Fate of Elloran'. Gosh, I wrote that some time ago! Thank you for all your excitement and kind words--it was very encouraging!

1 Debbie Newcomb replies: "Holy cats in a handbag! This is my forty second comment on my shelf!! If you don't understand the significance of that, then you've never read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Hm... I should do something special...."
