SciFi and Fantasy Art Ialyth Redleaf by Dani M. Rothe

This is my little halfling druid. Her companion was supposed to be a sugar glider, but I didn't look at any pictures till after the doodle was finished. We just recently started a new DnD campain. Our DM offers extra exp to ppl who do doodles/journal entries about the previous adventures (to help keep everyone up to date) so I figured I'd start with some character sketches. yes, this will likely become a series. I just figured I'd do mine first as a concept so I don't piss anyone off when I butcher their chars. Done in mechanical pencil on the back of a normal index card in about 2 or 3 hours. (during the games down time)

1 Jul 2003	Lia Tomco	Loading... I like the shape of her head--it looks very whimiscal and...well, it makes you think the character is a dangerous priss? If that makes sense? I also like the shading job you did. Her arm has a little proportion problem, but it's no big, and easy to fix. She has a nice facial expression, too. ^_^ Dani M. Rothe replies: "Hehe... she's kind of a stoic, self-deprecating, ditz. Or something like that.. I haven't had too much time to develop the character yet since we've only played twice so far. I'm always really bad at shoulders for some reason I just can't see the way the arm attatches correctly. Yet another issue to work on I guess But I think I'm getting better at the hip/stomach/thigh area. Thanks for stopping by!"
