SciFi and Fantasy Art Kaze No Sennyo by Dani M. Rothe

Kaze No Sennyo means Wind's Faerie/Pixie in japanese I believe. Or so my search of about three months says. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me, but it's become my web handle on just about every site I log on to in some form or other. This is part of the welcome image on my home page, and I made it while playing with the alpha channel capabilities with the GIMP. I got the idea for the blue pixies from a painting I saw on the net a while ago. Unfortunately, whoever posted the image didn't give credit to the artist, so I can't really site it here. blah. I like the wings. Smudgers are oh so very cool. :) I think they're kind of spiffy. The faeries I mean. Um... right.. yeah.

Rothe replies: "aye I know I haven't been able to find the character for it wherever I look. that and I wasn't entirely sure if the phrase was 100% right to begin with. Nice observation "

6 Nov 2003	Teresa Jacobson	Loading... 'no' is the only hiragana I can actually read. It's the one that looks like a backwards flopped-over e, or alternatively, a really odd "do not enter" sign. smiles happily I don't know if it's the "right" character for the circumstances, but most of the names I've seen just go ahead and use the hiragana. No, I don't speak Japanese. I have anime-obsessed friends. Self-defense. I love the way you colored the characters. Prettyprettypretty! And the wings of the faeries/pixies are really well done (I think).
