  | My first actually completed piece in a REALLY long time. Wow has elfwood gone through some changes since I was here last!!! My grandmother recently passed away, and while we were up at her house helping my grandfather clean things out I noticed her lilac bush. My mom's always loved lilacs, so we cut some off and put them in a vase in the middle of the table. I Dont know if that was really the inspiration for the picture, but I spent a good deal of time staring at the shading on the flowers. It started as a doodle, and she had purple eyes. So I figured the lilacs may be a nice touch. Done on sketch paper and colored with colored pencils. I'm no pro, but she's one of my best. please enjoy |
