This is one of my lead characters in my novel The Pearl of Heart, First Alliance(posted in Wyvern's). I have put a lot of work in the Unicorn(s) of my novel, and I got the urge to draw one of my Human Characters. She is a shape Shifter capable of shifting into ANY animal she wishes. Her preferred animal form is the wolf, portrayed behind her is her in her wolf form. She is a self made warrior and will not relent when cornered by anything. She is an excellent marksman with her Arwhaza sling-shot and Bow(though she is not introduced to her Bow until the second novel) and at yeilding swords and daggers. She is as lethal in her human form as she is in her wolf form. NOT a force to be reconed with if you would like to keep your life and appendages.

15 May 2004	Anonymous	Loading... what,no comments?!?!?!?! i just LOVE this picture!!! you did really good job!! i especially love the "waves" in the background,and their color;as i love the wolf!!!! he looks so clean and bright.....wonderful,wonderful job!! i love really much his face too.....and the women too is so beautiful,i love the way you made her hair.... P.S= i don't speak much english,so i hope you will understand something of what i write Maureen 'Wolffen' Wolff replies: "I am glad someone finally commented on this one. The wolf and the girl are one in the same. She is a shape-shifter and the wolf behind her is her in her wolf form, which is why I drew it sort of "spirit-ish". Thank you very much for you comment on this drawing, as I only completed it about a day ago, and it has become one of my personal favorites as well. 1 Jun 2004	Karin Schadinger	Loading... ^^ I want to be honest with you!! So I think this picture is totally great!!! Really! I love the colours and everything. But I kinda don't like the woman in the foreground. She looks a bit odd... Sorry nor nagging around.. But I thought you ought to know my opinion! Great wolf!! I love him!!! ^^ Maureen 'Wolffen' Wolff replies: "This is one of my recent favorite pieces and the woman is supposed to be the main subject, but so far everyone only likes the wolf??? I am confused, I thought she was one of the best parts of this piece, but I guess everyone has their own opinion, which doesn't include her, even though she IS the wolf, and the wolf IS her...maybe that is why she looks so odd??? I intentionally gave her more prominent features so that she looks slightly non-human(ie, her eyes, her ears, her cheeks, her large hands), because she is a shape-shifter...maybe in this piece it worked against me? Anywho, thank you for your comment."
30 Jun 2004	Chessie Alberti	Loading... Akeena!! Great pic!! Lovely colors!! But the best part is that it's a picture of AKEENA!! I like her hair, and as other people have pointed out, the wolf is beautiful. Maureen 'Wolffen' Wolff replies: "Thank you Chessi, I am glad you like her. This is one of my current, personal facorites, even if my human physiology is a little off. Akeena needed a stand alone portrait, and this image came to me in a dream, except it was in regular pencil in my dream. I plan to draw more of her, but for now I like this one. The wolf was kind of a last minute idea that worked well for the piece. I thank you for your comments!"
17 Nov 2004	Jo	Loading... Wow cool you got a the second novel on the way as well. I have haven't brought it yet. (shame of me ) But will it becoming out to the shops as well as the net. I have been looking but I can't buy things on the net I am still till young like. Only saventeen but I could ask my Auntie Maureen who also luv's unicorns and pegcause's as well. Anywhere I love the background, the colours look so calm I like the wolf as well and the young lady. 2 Nov 2005	Linda	Loading... The strength that shows through the woman is amazing . All her features shows hardship , determination as well as transformation . I found her stunning and her shape-shifting into a wolf awesome great job .
