Well some of you people are rediculous. First off if you looked hard enough you can see that the gun isn't spitting sabot rounds, but what looks like is some form of a needle. Look on the ground. You can see the shells without the needle tip. Probably something like a Needler from Halo. I think the picture is pimp my man. It's great. It's every little boy's dream to imgaine he would be doing something like this. Good style, color, and I find the background just as good as the character itself. Nice. Only thing I find a little odd is- that he looks like he's about to fall down. Probably just my eyes. Anyways- keep up the work.

Well folks, My name is Mike and I'm a senior member of the local NRA (National Rifle Association) chapter. I'm also an experienced loader. Meaning that I weigh and load the correct grams of propellant for various caliber cartridges.

I'm well aware that this is Sci-fi and all, but I'd like to lend my two-cents in support of the Artist Ruben.

It looks to me to be a 17. HMR (17. caliber Hordany Magnum Rimfire) Which is a 17. bullet with a slimed down 22. catridge. he bullets grains are generally red and effective for Varmint hunting. But looking at the size of the used up cartridges they could be very well WSM or WSSM ( Winchester Super short Magnum) Or "fat" cartridges.

The use of an ammo belt is impractical but I can understabd his use of it due to the fact that the "Fat" rounds limit the ammo capacity in a normal rifle to about three. So really a slimer barrel with a larger ejection port with a bullpup mag would have been fine. Seeing how this dude is an assassin.

In fear of writing to much I'll just leave it at that I want the readers to see the other coments which provoked mine.
