| 20 Jul 2002 | Halo Black | Loading...Yay! Its Mr Fluffy again! *glomps demon* I love this charicter, he needs a proper name though, Demon 1 and Demon 2 arn't really scary demon names... Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "He's actually a demon of disease named Metathiax, from White Wolf's Montreal by Night. He's host to a legion of infectious diseases, most of them painfully lethal, and he can infect people simply by touching them. In the sourcebook, his essence is imprisoned under Mount Royal; in my game, he was set free with a vampiric body. His essence was too much for the body, though, and it quickly bloated and began to reform itself into the shape shown here." | |
| 7 Apr 2004 | Dennis James Jonathon Doering -'Quidni' | Loading...This does look like there is a strong influence from Spawn, which is a good thing... spawn's art is great. You're right though, his stories get real repetitive real quick. I like how the muscles are so huge, and the head is tiny in comparison. Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Thanks for your comments. I started out as a big Spawn fan, simply because I had loved Todd McFarlane's work on Spider-Man. And, initially, Spawn was damned cool. McFarlane even managed to get some damn fine writers on early issues (Alan Moore, Dave Sim, Frank Miller, Neil Gaiman). Unfortunately, Spawn's a one-trick pony, at least to me. After about sixty issues, with very little resolution of ANYTHING, I just up and quit reading it. But, again, thanks for your comments. I do love how his tiny little head makes the body look so much more massive." | |
