Rubenstahl replies: "Everyone seems to like the feet, for some reason... I just figured that something that big needed feet capable of supporting it in a variety of environments and conditions."
| 14 Jun 2002 | H. Ching | Loading...This fellow looks mean and deadly. It would actually make a good Starcraft Zerg unit. Haha! Great original design by the way. The shading is excellent too! Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Thanks! Your stuff is great, too. I especially like your shading (I envy anyone who can shade properly...)" | |

I would disagree with the 'perfect' part, but I still think this is one of my better drawings. I wish I still had the patience to draw with a .03 lead again."

| 23 Jul 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...verny nice drawing. One tiny question, if it ran on all fours, wouldn't it's head be facing the ground? (ie, how would it see) Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "If you look at the top of its head, it has several auxiliary eyes arranged in a 'V' formation, so it can see multiple angles at once (the slaver would have about a 270 degree field of vision...) Also, when it leans forwards to drop onto all fours, the neck swivels upwards, so the head is facing forwards as it runs horizontally. It reverses the process when it stands up again. And thanks for stopping by and commenting!" | |
