SciFi and Fantasy Art Tattoo Design (Final) by Chris M. Rubenstahl

This is the final, inked, approved version of the Tamale tattoo elsewhere in this gallery. It took me a while, but I finally got it done, and I'm sorry I didn't get it done sooner, Jeremy. This is a symbolic representation of the Bone Gnawer Garou (werewolf) Hot Tamale, in his Homid (human) and Crinos (giant half-man, half-wolf killing machine) forms. The knife in the center is a weapon that, in our game, the character is attempting to forge.

Rubenstahl replies: "For some reason, eyepatches, eyecaps, and eye injuries seem to be common in my drawings. My character Kamikaze has one side of his face slashed up, including several scars that run across the eye (as does Tamale, here). Caitlin has Velma Dinkley's eyesight, and my several of my concept sketches for certain comics have that theme. Hmm... obsess much, Chris?"
