This semi-gruesome piece came about as I was drawing something else. I was trying to get some sketches done of the PCs in our World of Darkness game. As I was drawing one of the vampires, though, I found myself drawing the non-player character of Wednesday instead (seen elsewhere in this gallery). I spent so much time working on her, that the background suffered as a result (could her chained-up victim look any MORE fake? And how about the perspective!) Still, I do like some of it. I think I did pretty well on Wendy (the character's real name) herself, and I love the first-person effect (the quavering guns at the edges of the field of view; she's advancing to kill YOU, buddy!) Also, consider that she's just killed these two gentlemen after (presumably) tempting them with sex. Considering that she kills child molesters, how justified are her actions? BTW, for anyone who cares, the title of this picture comes from the movie version ofThe Crow, when Eric is just about to kill Tin-Tin.

"What are you going as?" "I'm going as a homicidal maniac. They dress just like everyone else." Righteous piece, man. 2

:-) Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Thanks! I hope to post a cleaned-up color version of this soon-- as soon as I finish it."

:-) Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Thanks for the compliment! I wish I'd drawn the guy in the background a little sharper, but what the hell."

You have a wonderful command of the firearm. I also love the look on that girl's face.

:-) Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Thanks! I went to a particularly rough high school, and I made quite a few friends (and a few extra bucks here and there) by drawing a lot of the 'rougher' crowd's favorite guns for them, poster-sized. And yes, I do LOVE the smirk on her face; I think this is one of my better drawings."
