| 29 Dec 1998 | The artist | Loading...Actually, this one took a long time.. not in actual drawing time, but because I hated the first draft of it, and continued forth in my sketchbook. Every once in a while, I would erase something, or draw a new line, but eventually I buckled down and finished it off in about two hours. | |
| 21 Oct 1999 | Wilson T Saunders | Loading...Yeah weren't we all angery misguided youth at one point or other in our lives? You have a real nack for weapons and the carnage related to them. This is one excelent picture. | |
| 6 Mar 2001 | Gregory michael conroy | Loading...love it! its nuts! the gun is amazing | |
| 4 Oct 2001 | Dude | Loading...*drool* Dude, I want that gun. Do you know where I can get one? <g> Seriously, though, nice pic. It's one of your better ones, especially in that you didn't 'forget' anything, like having only half a shadow. Keep up the good work! | |
| 18 Jan 2002 | Cobras2 | Loading...man this really adds character to the older kami.. of course i agree that I like the older one better; just the character that he emits makes you feel like if he's pon your side you have nothing to worry about; this guy here kinda looks like he might get a bit forgetful in the middle of a battle... Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Amazingly enough, one of my friends made almost the same comment when he saw this drawing originally taking shape a few years ago. His comment was "Doesn't he belong on 'Friends' or something?" Ouch." | |
| 7 Jun 2002 | Ifrit_gf1 (dustin_freestar) | Loading...THIS PICTURE IS SO AWSOME! I love the skeleton and the shells and how the blast of the gun and the whole "YOU KILLED MY BROTHER YOU S.O.B!!!" theme... Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Well, thanks! That was the feel I was going for in this pic. Nice to know it came across properly!" | |
| 7 Jun 2002 | D&D gamer | Loading...The fatal flaw of this drawing is that the spent ammo cases are way to small to match THAT muzzle flash. Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Yep. The massive muzzle flash actually hides some paper-shredding erasing I did. The paper was so thisn, you could practically read through it, so I just lightly sketched in a huge muzzle flash and let it stand at that." | |
| 14 Jan 2003 | Akyra | Loading...Wow! I love the skeleton! its great! I want that gun... Maybe I could get my revenge on that neighbor I hate....hmm.... Wow, the shells make it seem realistic to me! Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Thanks again! The skeleton was put in because the corner of the drawing just looked boring without it. As for the gun, I just like drawing massive, powerful, fearsome-looking weapons (insert joke about 'compensation' here)." | |
| 29 Apr 2004 | Hudson | Loading...It reminds me of a comic i saw long time ago called scud the desposibal assassin funny stuff but he pulls this monster gun on these dudes and well looked like that hahaha. Such a waste on killing that misquto hahaha over kill but serously great gun like mitntioned befor up grade the shell casings to say a halowitzer cannon for that flash or atleast a 50cal either or Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Thanks! I remember Scud well... I love the fact that he tried to keep his one victim alive, because if his mission was over, he would explode. Anyway, the cannon in his hand is a 20mm cannon (I guess... I dunno!). Thanks for stopping by..." | |
| 11 Nov 2004 | Tucker meckelfish | Loading...Very cool! I like the flash on the muzzle of the gun and the bullet shells add a cool tuch. But my favorite part would have to be the skeleton in the water Chris M. Rubenstahl replies: "Sorry about the delay in respoding; I just saw your comment here! Anyway, thanks!" | |
