Souleater- I had almost forgotten how wonderful it was to walk somewhere without people staring at you as if you were a monster or whispering behind your back. Here no one knew me and they even bumped into me with a “I’m sorry” or a “Excuse me”.

This is probably the longest most boring chapter I've written so far... I'm sorry for that.

There will come more parts as soon I have written them i the computer

I didn’t believe my eyes, we were heading out in the real world. The light came as a shock but after a while my eyes got used to it. I didn’t recognize the place but the landscape told me it was our country. Lloyd seemed to know the place and went in some direction. After a short while we reached a small town.

“I have some things to fix. You can look around if you like to.”  And then he gave me seven silver coins.

“Buy something you think is necessary. My guess is you didn’t bring anything for a trip like this” he said.

“Yeah… I guess. Except for my sword.”

“I’ll see you here at sunset and then we’ll find our way back into the dark world.” Then he gave me a very serious look and said:

“And don’t forget to eat something while we’re here.” Then he turned around and went away.

‘Someone you mean’ I thought bitterly and walked into the crowded town. I had almost forgotten how wonderful it was to walk somewhere without people staring at you as if you were a monster or whispering behind your back. Here no one knew me and they even bumped into me with a “I’m sorry” or a “Excuse me”. In their eyes I was a simple traveller from a rich family.  For the first time in a long while I felt at least a bit normal. Then I remembered why I was there. ‘Okay, what do I need for a long time in darkness?’ I thought. I couldn’t think of anything and it was not like I could just walk into a shop and ask “Hello do you have anything necessary that I can have use for in another world?” No it wasn’t even an alternative. After a while I found a small shop which sold swords, knifes, bags etc… There was kind of a small, fat man behind the desk.

“Welcome” he said.

“Hello”

“Are you looking for something?”

“No…” I felt a bit stupid walking into a shop without knowing what I was looking for.

“You’re not from around, are you?”

“No, no. I’m from Euphca”

“Are you? You look familiar” The fat man reviewed me carefully. ‘Stupid’ I thought ‘Never tell anyone you don’t trust where you are coming from’.

“No you must have mistaken me for somebody”

“Hm… But I’m almost sure I’ve seen you’re face somewhere, and when you say Euphca…” I didn’t feel comfortable with this man.

“What a nice sword you got there.” I tried to change the topic pointing at a sword hanging on the wall.

“Ah, yes. It’s one of my finest, made by Isak Hyde, but…” he glanced down at my sword.

“May I have a look?” I handed him my sword without thinking.

“But… This sword, it’s the same creator…” he stroke the blade with his hand and the he looked up at me again with new interest.

“You must be an important man who can afford a sword like this”

“Well…” One part of me said ‘run away!! Don’t let him know who you are!’ but I didn’t move.

“ It…is not mine… I’m carrying it for a rich man”

“Aye? And you’re carrying his clothes to?” The shop keeper leaned forward over the desk. ‘Damn it! He got me!’ I thought.

“I wont tell anyone”

“N…no I’m not special… But it’s a fine knife you got there…” The man turned around and looked at where I was pointing.

“Yes, but the others are much finer.” I didn’t want to mention it looked the cheapest.

“How much?”

“Well I can give you a special price if you tell me who you are…” He pierced me with his eyes.

“…But otherwise it’s 4 silver coins and 2 bronze”

“Here is 5 silver and please don’t mind who I am” He looked dissatisfied but I just thanked him and left the shop. I could not let anyone get that information. I had probably already gone missing. People all over the country were probably searching for me. I headed down the street with a bad feeling waiting for the dawn to come.
