Same critter as in flying fur but in action this time! I may darken the wings and rescan it at some point but it still looks good. I believe the berries its eating are a cross between strawberries and raspberries. They look tasty if nothing else.

UPDATE 2005:  I've updated the recently coloured version and named the silly thing Burr.  Not sure why, but I think it suits somehow.

That's one helluva nice drawing! ^-^ Ressembles the first drawing like two drops of water! ^-^ Very nice work, I like the swirl of the plant! Great job, congrats!

:-) Ruth E. Steinback replies: "Thanks, I drew this guy without looking at the other one and then had to add a couple of details before I scanned it. Glad you like! I like my plant thing too, my first real effort at a border/frame for my pictures."

Awww, he's so sweet! (He or she?) And the wings do need to be a bit darker, but a little bit of invisibility in them looks good.
I love this one!! Can I PLEAZZZEEE have a photocopy of the original?? 1

1 Ruth E. Steinback replies: "He's on my list to update and colour and I can prolly e-mail you a copy of that version since you're so wonderful and comment on all my pics!"

6 Ruth E. Steinback replies: "It is isn't it? I bet that soap didn't taste so good though... unless its edible soap?"

Awwww, he's coloured!! The cartoony aspect in this drawing makes it seem really different from the open-ended sketchy original. I <3 him doubly. & Burr is a good name; I don't get why either, but it /does/ fit.

1 Ruth E. Steinback replies: "Its an odd name isn't it? I don't really know why it fits, but I'm glad it does! Thanks~"

Huh, it looks to be a cross between a hare (feet), ground hog (face), and lion (mane and body). I see no need to change the wings, they are pretty as is. Wonderful colouration.
