You have a good handle on drawing the face, I love the way you manage to make the eyes so deep. Also nice shading work (I have trouble with that at the best of times). Stuff to work on would be body proportions - you really only have a few full body picture but just generally relative to the rest of the body the legs are quite short. Other than that, just draw more maybe try a few different angles like profile or 3/4 turn, or changing around the composition a bit so not everything is centred, but on the whole good work! Keep it up! Sanna 'Delphi' Rydin replies: "Okey, here the deal. The most people draw there characters with longer legs then the normal body has. In photos od models, they use computers and make there legs about 20% longer than they should be. In Reallife the top of the body acculy are exactly the same lenght as the bottom. So acculy my proportions are right. The next time you watch a show like Sailor moon. Look at there legs and you will see, that they are FAR to long. As for the angels. Thanx for the tip. I will try to do that. " | |

| 10 Apr 2003 | Liv Korsnes | Loading...This is a comment to the comment by Rosemary Jennifer Wong: I agree with her. your legs should be a little longer. I have heard that most ppl legs are supposed to be the same length as the upper body, but it has been my observation that this is not true most of the time. I have actually measured that on several people to see for myself and the legs are most of the time a lil longer. But other than that i love your work! Great job! Sanna 'Delphi' Rydin replies: " Hi! I guess that it IS different from person to person. If you DO measured my characters legs you would find out that they are a bit longer then they should be already. But I know that alot of people tend to draw even longer legs. So...we'll se in the future. Maybe I will draw even a bit longer legs than I do now, maybe not. But thanx for the comment " | |
