Saber Alexander Orion McConnell

Saber is a weird person and enjoys it! He likes ThunderCats, and climbing trees, and reading and drawing, and writing....and a lot of other stuff, too numerous to mention. He likes kids a lot too.
 
 
 
I draw because I love to. I see a lot of things in my head, and it's nice to be able to see them on paper, not to mention showing them to others. It's also good for helping to bring your imagination a little closer to being reality. I think imagination is a great thing, and that more people should indulge. As for writing, I do that because I love it too, and it's kind of like reading, you can have adventures in other worlds, but instead of someone else's worlds, they're yours. Also, when you write, you can have things any way you want to have them, which doesn't happen too often in the real world.

I live in the middle of the United States, and it's COLD here. Someday I'll be rich and be able to move to Southern California near the beach. (And within driving distance to the deserts I grew up in in Arizona.) I have no pets...mine have all passed on, and I am not ready yet for another.  I like reading, writing, tree-climbing (when it's warm), martial arts, drawing, being obnoxious, animals, kids, adventure, nature, praying mantises, hyenas, ravens, ocelots, collecting toys and merchandise from my favorite movies and shows, and tons of other things. Obviously, my art reflects a lot of this stuff!

You've got some nice art! Your list of pets sounds a bit like mine, only mice instead of rats. Are you, by any small chance, a redwall fan?

:-) Saber Alexander Orion McConnell replies: "hehe I like mice, too, but they're so tiny. I'd probably lose them. Rats are far easier to keep track of! (Though two of mine keep fighting! I've taken to turning a squirt bottle on them like I do the cat when she's misbehaving.) I do like Redwall, though I don't think I would call myself a fan. I did name my rats after them though, and one of the two that always fight, the one that bullies his brother mercilessly, I've named Cluny. LOL"

I like all your descriptions of your pictures (and the pictures themselves of course) they are all very factual sounding-- like it could be real. Anyway, well done-- all your pictures look like they could have a story behind them. I like 'em, keep it up!
