SciFi and Fantasy Art Sad Celebrian by Sabra R. Hart

Here is a small sketch I did of Elrond's wife, Celebrian. I did this after I got to thinking about how she left for the Grey Heavens after Elladan and Elrohir resqued her from the orcs (I think, sorry I need to re-read The Silmarillion again). What would make her leave her husband, her three children and even her parents (Galadreil and Celeborn) behind? I think what she had endured at the hands of the orcs, was more then she could bare. And she was undone.

23 Dec 2006	Stephanie	Loading... This has been my very most favorite in all elf wood for so long. She is divine. She reminds me of the unicorn from "the last unicorn" She was the only unicorn that knew regret...same kind of sad knowing here. I just love her!
3 Sep 2007	Darial	Loading... She had bad traumas 'cause of the orc attack. They consumed her and she couldn't find peace in Middle Earth and left to Valinor.
