That's a girl elf. And I think this is a cool pic.

Now for some background. Tolkien's world of Middle Earth is based on Norse (Viking) mythology. According to the Vikings the gods and frost giants had a big war and the gods won. The leader of the giants body was then used by Odin and his two brothers to create the earth. The ground was made from his rotting flesh, the water from his blood, and the plants from his hair. Time passes and Odin discovers these muddy masses forming down in the earth. They were alive and could think so he gave them completed forms. Those that were kind and loving were transformed into beautiful fairies and elves. Those that were greedy and selfish were kind of left as they were and became ugly dwarves. The elves were allowed to ascend to another world more beautiful than our own and became the care takers of plants. But Odin left the dwarves where they were in caves. They mined all day and became black smiths. They did have magic and made the enchanted weapons for the gods for a price.
So it's frowned upon in most stories to have "love" relationships with dwarves. Dwarves are ugly and considered less "holy" than elves or even humans. (sheds a tear) They always get the short end of the stick.

my boyfriend walked behind me while i was looking at this and said, "OMG I want that tatoo!" lol . The elf’s facial structure reminds me of the halfling race of The Dark Crystal, i love it. You should have not touched the hair though, it makes it seem not to fit so well, Can you load the original scetch?

that is one beautiful elf (and dwarf, but especially elf) it’s quite hard to tell if the elf is a girl or a boy though, and the dwarf is only recognisable as a man because of his beard and the fact that his chest is showing.
