| 2 Dec 2005 | Anonymous | Loading...PickAxe Looks Great! The only thing I would recommend to add to it would be a bit of woodgrain on the handle so it doesn't appear to be steel or "fiberglass" it is just a tad modern looking.
Also, flatten out the pickaxe a bit, as was mentioned above, think of it as a bar of iron hammered flat to fit the pickaxe job, then twisted so half is a horizontal scoop and the other half is a pointy blade. In the middle of this "twist" would be the handle. Looks much less like sledge heads of modern, and more "sleek", since the band was hammered thin prior to putting on the stick.
Overall: Excellent drawing! Unique, shows a new perspective. The only other comment would be to add *slight* detail to the shoes. | |

| 20 Mar 2011 | Jason Rivenscryr Vance | Loading... Such joy! A Dwarf that I can possibly draw great amounts of inspiration from! You have filled my head and heart with such greatness, it’s uncanny. Oh a lighter note, my first impression of this was that Link from the Legend of Zelda series got Dwarf-ied. So, for me, that just adds that much more wonder to the piece. Great job! And I think that pick-axe could probably do some damage in the right hands... | |
