With an archer like him, who needs siege weapons?

When I saw this piece I simply had to comment on it. This piece is wonderful and you artwork is exceptional. I absolutely love this picture. He is so fearsome a muscled dwarf with a huge bow with thick armor piercing bullets. From your description I could imagine him in war shooting through an armored enemy with ease. It's very classical sticking to basic standard colors such as the red beard. Nothing too bold, But contrasting the casual colors is the character himself. Anyone who thinks he should have an axe instead Or that he simply isn't fearsome is an imbecile. Wonderful Piece, I take to Drow but you've got me liking Dwarfs for the time being. -----Praise Lloth------

Dwarves arent archers

i agree with.... that .... one guy, dwarves arent archers. they prefer the blood spray of the thick melee combat, not the boring task of arrows. well, i guess a choice few might choose bows... sorry.. nice pick anyhow! AwEsOmE. ( i think dwarves would use throwing axes? )

Such generalizations about dwarfs! Dwarven rangers aren't uncommon in fantasy literature. If the bloodspray is important, I'd imagine seeing it from a distance would give one a better view of the carnage anyway. 12

This is excellent, Sabra. Beautifully done, good definition to the muscles, good proportion, and the subtle color suits him perfectly. I'm absolutely impressed.

Not too shabby. You're going against some traditions of Dwarven society here, but hey! Variety is the spice of ... something. Neways, the coloring is pretty. Uh. Good.

I absolutely adore this picture. I love the dwarves and you have just brought this one to life.
