Tag As FavoriteComment		This is an Art Nouveau representation of the Norse Goddess of beauty, spring, youth... etc. If you're familiar with the Norse Mythology, you'll note the two cats at the top (they pulled her chariot), the feathers (which symbolize her magic coat of feathers), and the necklace of the Brisings. Also, you'll note the tree Yggdrasil, at the bottom.

I think it's a very good picture... and I like that you have got all the details with the cats and the tree and etc. My name is Freja too, and i come from Denmark!... and i like to use pictures of Freja/Freya to put on my calendar, and other things!!!

My name is also Freya! hehe. This is lovely, I'm fascinated by the mythology of my namesake and also by Art Nouveau so it's a perfect combination. She's very graceful in your drawing - symbolizing the more peaceful aspects of her character (i.e. not in her hall surrounded by dead warriors 0.o)
