| 23 Aug 2004 | Pete Tzinski | This was the one spot I hadn't commented yet, so I figured...what the hey. Your work, as well as your general manner of speech (as I see it through your typing, anyway) make me wonder what sort of books you read, and what you've read in the past. I get a great number of 'vibes,' so to speak, from your writing which remind me of some of the authors in my own library. Douglas Adams, J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Prachett, Terry Goodkind, J.K. Rowling...those are some I got a sense of. How 'on the money' am I here? Sasha Alexandra 'Salek FireStag' Reneau replies: "Awesome vibe powers ya got there. I haven't started reading Terry Pratchett until recently, I haven't read Terry Goodkind, and as a personal opinion, I detest J.K. Rowling. Douglas Adams was a large influence.. But who was the most influence on my writing is in fact Patricia C. Wrede. " | |
