Ok, so this scene takes place right after the "My Brother!" -picture (also in my gallery *hint*). I was supposed to remake "My Brother!", but it turned out to be this.

So, these are the same elven brothers as in the pic I have already mentioned. The surviving one is starting to realize the situation and what it means, and very soon he'll realize, that he must tell his sisters and parents what has happened.  *sob*

Hmm... *playing her flute first comment melody again, this time the song of mourning*

This is indeed more serene and calm than the "My brother" picture. Still sad, but not as much impressive as the first scene.

Well drawn, especially the departed one´s hair. In fact I can fully return you your happy sigh about shiny, shiny hair 1
I know I won´t please you as much by saying that he´s another very androgynous man of yours. I´m sorry :-/ But I think the surviving brother is OK in this matter.

^hmmmm from your comment above^: why not do some drawings of men to get the practice in feeling the bones of real men... Then go back and do some really nice elves.

But in all parts I feel you have captured a moment of peace but sadness. Though the shading is well done (better then me anyway) and a excellent picture all together.

Keep it up Jo

This is very good, and the shading is superb, but there is one thing I would like to point out. The elf on top has a curved cheek, like he's supposed to, but the lower one has a straight line. I just thought you might want to notice that for future art. Excellent work, though, you can really feel the emotion.

13 Lea K Salminen replies: "Thanks! I wouldn't have noticed the cheek thing if you hadn't told me. And yes, I do want to know things like that, I'm very grateful that you pointed it out2 "

So pretty! love the emotion captured in this pic! I actually see probablly more emotion then you ment to put in it becus I add more to it wen i look at it. I know that doesn't make sense but I don't make sense either!=)

2 Lea K Salminen replies: "Well, not everything has to make sense2 Thank you for your sweet comment2"

This two elves seem to have gone through a lot of things together, and the wounds suffered by their hearts seem to be deeper than the wounds of their bodies, but now they can rest for a while. Nice and atmospheric picture by the way 2.

2 Lea K Salminen replies: "What a deep comment. 2 Thank you."
