Still sad, but not as much impressive as the first scene. Well drawn, especially the departed one´s hair. In fact I can fully return you your happy sigh about shiny, shiny hair I know I won´t please you as much by saying that he´s another very androgynous man of yours. I´m sorry :-/ But I think the surviving brother is OK in this matter. Lea K Salminen replies: "Thanks! I dunno, maybe elf men just look slightly feminine? Bah, I have to work on this problem. I tend to draw men too pretty... " | |
| 9 Nov 2006 | Joanne Louise Sheard | Loading...^hmmmm from your comment above^: why not do some drawings of men to get the practice in feeling the bones of real men... Then go back and do some really nice elves. But in all parts I feel you have captured a moment of peace but sadness. Though the shading is well done (better then me anyway) and a excellent picture all together. Keep it up Jo Lea K Salminen replies: "I'll just have to face it: my men, elves or not, look too feminine. But I'm going to work on that Thank you for this nice comment^^" | |

| 2 Feb 2007 | Gwen Digiavonni | Loading...This is very good, and the shading is superb, but there is one thing I would like to point out. The elf on top has a curved cheek, like he's supposed to, but the lower one has a straight line. I just thought you might want to notice that for future art. Excellent work, though, you can really feel the emotion. Lea K Salminen replies: "Thanks! I wouldn't have noticed the cheek thing if you hadn't told me. And yes, I do want to know things like that, I'm very grateful that you pointed it out " | |
| 2 Feb 2007 | Sitia | Loading...So pretty! love the emotion captured in this pic! I actually see probablly more emotion then you ment to put in it becus I add more to it wen i look at it. I know that doesn't make sense but I don't make sense either!=) Lea K Salminen replies: "Well, not everything has to make sense Thank you for your sweet comment " | |
| 1 Aug 2007 | Matthias Schmidt | Loading...This two elves seem to have gone through a lot of things together, and the wounds suffered by their hearts seem to be deeper than the wounds of their bodies, but now they can rest for a while. Nice and atmospheric picture by the way . Lea K Salminen replies: "What a deep comment. Thank you." | |
