Had to try out my new acrylics on something random, and this baby dragon was what popped up on my page. This piece was great fun to do X3

I keep reading "popped out as "pooped out" which will teach me for commenting at 3 am in the morning!

...anyways...

I'm liking the Acylics, I envy you and Rachel, I have no idea how you both can work with them!

*pets the draggie*

1 Samantha L Houghton replies: "You should try 'em, Jen! You can't really go wrong with them . . . just slap 'em on the page and mix the colours X3"

I love how he looks Sam! Ans yes, he's probably saying he's hungry. I know I would!

11 Samantha L Houghton replies: "Thanks, SA ^_^ Must just be Graydon he wanted to bite 10"

Nicely done, Sam! I've never even touched acrylics, so this looks very, very good to me. o.o (<- feelin' the awe)

I'm not entirely sure what could be done better, as it isn't really my medium... perhaps you could experiment with making the wings all crympely (that is SO a word) as well as the rest of it? Gives it that whole 'just-hatched' thing... I dunno. Keep it up!

...unrelated note: I'm bloody slow at commenting. -_-;

1 Samantha L Houghton replies: "I'll take your word that . . . it's a . . . word >.>, Kyle. Yeah, the wings are a little flat and not really 'I've just been born!' wings. Ah well, I shall make a note for next time ^^ Thanks for commenting!"

That's really good considering you're using acrylics! o_0

They dry so fast! For you, I reckon oil paints are the paints to use.....they're just so messy, though 10.

11 Samantha L Houghton replies: "Yeah, oil paints are insanely messy XD but, that's never stopped me before. I'll probably get round to them eventually, as I seem to be trying out as many different media as I can right now o_O, but acrylics are fun and fairly easy to use ^_^Thanks for the comment! And update, you! *pokes*"
