"Watch Duty" , K'yleir though.

" I asked for some space, but, not this. There is nothing to do!"  he snorted not knowing he wasn't alone.

K'yleir is young in the age of a Draigonian. Being youthful he did not want duties yet. On normal days he found ways around getting them. Today was not so lucky.  K'yleir and the rest of the clann help watch over the Teirains. The off worlders. Many different races and species have come to live on thier world. The agreement between them is to live with limited technology and limited distruction of the world. To cohabitate with nature instead of tearing up the land to build.

Draigonian's have watch duty to keep the rules in line as well as to protect the Teirains from others that have left the clann's.

Done with watercolors, Water color pencils and a touch of black ink. 2007.

That is how I feel at work now that it is summer! I like the feeling of distance you capttured. 2

1 Samantha CrystalBlueDragon James replies: "I wanted to do a better job on the background. It was not easy for me since I am still learning to use watercolor. I had hoped that I would capture a feeling of spring or the begining of summer with the colors. Thanks for commenting!"

Really nice, you have a great touch for capturing expressions or moods, which I imagine is not easy to do for a dragon.

I really like this picture. It is bright and positive. Really impressive background and shadings. It goes well with the dragon. The good anathomy and all the details.... This is very good. Well done! Keep it up!
