A storm front sweeps across your line of sight all over the sky, thunder claps and lightning flash close by. You can feel eyes watching you as this storm rolls over you. Wind blows your hair back and the clouds part for a moment and you can see the guardian of the storm controling its every movement. At that moment the wind stops and he stares at you, with a flick of his wings the sky lights up with lightning everywhere. Tis not finished yet, since alot of the pencils used I cannot find in stores anymore. UPDATE 7/27/02 This one was done befor I knew that there was one almost like it out in the stores. I have now seen it and there are differences in them both. I also dont think it very nice to tell me that I copied this picture off that person when they are different. THANK YOU!

Hey dont feel Too bad about someone saying you copied the pic.I had a really pretty unicorn pic in my gallery and most people said i had copied it .Well someone emailed a moderator and they took it off.I couldnt believe it it was the best pic i had ever drawn and somebody said i copied it.Stupid yes i know but people are dumb like that.I had no clue that there was a pic like mine out there. But anyway i love this pic and i do beleive you that you didnt copy it.i know how it feels well i have updated my gallery come look sometime. . . more unicorns haha.Cant get enough of them ~*wolfling*~

:-) Samantha CrystalBlueDragon James replies: "It can be a very trying thing when we want others opion but that is what it is,right?I don't think anyone has a great enough point to do that to you or to anyone, but we do have those that do copy big time. I don't like to do it myself. It isn't my style! You keep up the work on the unicorns."

You know, 'Anonymous', with so many artists in the world, and only so many ways dragons/people/unicorns/anything living can realistically move - It is almost impossible that a picture with two major elements in it will not have a similar counterpart elsewhere in the world.

Keyword: "Similar." The artwork is her own, and is quite original - While others might have a similar dragon in a similar situation, the nuances in the picture, and the style, are all her own. Don't accuse people of copying others' poses - Chances are, there's going to be another person in the world who has used the same pose as you have in one of their pictures - Without *ever* having seen your work.

Anyway! Samantha, the way you've colored the head is awesome! Pure black is a hard color on which to pull off detailing - You've already done it so well! 1 I can't wait to see the entire thing finished! Kudos!

:-) Samantha CrystalBlueDragon James replies: "Thank you! I highly agree with you and truth betold that many artist come upon that very problem. Believe me, that is many layers of black to get that pure look. Thus far that wings are mostly done and the body is taking on the same fluid color. Thanks for the stand up comment!"

Like when designing clothing, there are only so many poses you can make before they start repeating themselves. Even Chaos has patterns! I think this was a really nice picture 2Please keep drawing!

:-) Samantha CrystalBlueDragon James replies: "I do believe you are right. As with the idea going with fashion look at the trends that have come back from the 1970's. I believe art and thoughts come from a very core area in our lives that connect us all together. Weather we know it or not. Thank you!"

WOW that is an amazing drawing of a dragon! i Love to draw dragons but they arn't nearly as good as yours are! As for the person saying that you copied it well he hasn't seen true art even if it smacked them in the face! And i have never seen a dragon like yours! I mean even if there is one like yours they were done by different artists so there are going so be a lot of differences in the picture! Your art is phenomenal and don't let those people mess you up!

You have an excellent grasp of color, I love colored pencils and it wonderful to see them used to such dramatic effect. Your dragons are fierce and lithe, I love them! This is my favorite, not sure why exactly.. maybe because he's not quite finished therefore a little less corporeal and more magical.. *grinz* ANYWAY.... great, wonderful and more please!
