A tameable alien, known as the strider for its long legs. Though taller than a giraffe at the shoulders, its behavior is most comparable to that of horses, though less spooky. For those without ladders, they can be trained to lay down on command. Those brought back to Earth have a love of all sorts of small squishy fruits, particularly berries and pitted olives, which they can easily slurp up on their long tongue.
