No, I did NOT copy Disney. I know it looks like the thing from fantasia 2000 but honest i didnt realize that until after it was done. I dont know what made me think of it, I just felt like making something big and explosive.

Sorry to say it but the Phoenix isn't that interesting... But I think the very cool thing about this picture are those spirit's that raise from the volcano... hmm... reminds me of an assignment I had to do on a poem by Halfdan Rasmussen (danish poet)

Au contraire Stefan! Phoenixs are very interesting! Comeon! A fire bird that burns itself in the flames ... then is reborn from the ashes beginning a new cycle of time. The Phoenix symbolizes immortality, resurrection and life after death. How is that not interesting?

Anyway! I really like this picture! Very well done!

Nice one. 2 He, the first thing I had to think of was Charizard! 2 lol

But seriously, I cannot really say I saw a phoenix in this, per se. To me, it's more like, I dunno, it's got "Escher" properties. I mean, a fire-spitting dragon being itself what's coming out of a fire-spitting vulcano. I dunno; that's deep. Certainly for someone your age.

You just keep drawing! there's no power in the 'verse that should stop you!

:-) Elizabeth Lortie replies: "It doesnt look like a Pokemon... T.T How do you not see the phoe? Its got a beaky...Though being that birds came from reptiles I guess a draggie could have a beak too. I need to post my other phoe then you can see the relations. Deep? How do you figure? No power in the 'verse can stop me cuz I can kill you with my brain!!! HA! HA! HA! Mine is an evil laugh, now DIE! BWHAHA*gag* I swallowed a bug..."

OOOooOOOoooooo.....i think you really make some good movement in this picture. the phoenix almost look like it’s a baddie(meaning evil...stupid monster ranchers...) and it’s a dealio (stupid aqua quest 12....) where he rises only once in a while(usually 1000 years give or take) then burninates(stupid Strongbad..) the countryside. whooooo it looks coolio(stupid Darren Shan...) though!!!!
