SciFi and Fantasy Art Bloodthirst by Sam ´Zephyri´ Hogg

This is a violent and bloody scene which took place in the roleplay I am involved in. These two gentlemen are Imp (the winged vampire angel) and Kana, (the one being bitten). Imp is Jessica Douglas's character, and Kana belongs to me, so no stealing, reproduction or using of these characters under any circumstances.

A brief explanation: Imp, who controls the power of Ice through his wings is being driven by a rage implanted in his mind by another, and Kana, who has the power of fire and immortal blood, but will die if he loses enough, fights for his own survival, though he has been told Imp is not an evil man. Driven by an insanity to kill, Imp lifts Kana to the skies and tries to rip his throat from him, while Kana fights the urge to simply fry the man using his powers.

One of the rare times the watercolour seems to have done what I wanted it to, I am relatively content with this, considering I had no references at all for this picture except for the sky. It is times like this I am happiest with my work, when it comes straight from the scene in my head. December 2003.

Anyway, I believe I've said it before on the sketch but I loooove the flowing hair! You do hair so good! And the poses are very well drawn too, with the forshortening and such thumbs up But what I love the most of this drawing is the sky... it's drop dead beautiful! Very realistic and a lovely use of colour! Just wonderful, I'm awed!

I am just in awe. Constructive criticism, a little shading seems to be missing here and there that would help distinguish their bodies from one another...if that made any sense. Anyway, awesome, awesome picture. Gotta love some good RP inspiration
