I see symbolism here that you may not have even consciously put there, and some you probably did. From a stranger: I hope that his memory burns on for you, but that it doesn't burn you up. I hope that the memory keeps being fuel for your creativity. A lot of people are consumed by it, but your ability to create this and tell the story expresses that you're stronger.
This is a beautiful piece.

Wow! They seem so different, yet that small touch seems to cross worlds and show them as kindred spirits. Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration for this with us. Only a beautiful soul could create something this wonderous.

Sorry, babbling, I just wanted you to know that I think this is one of the most beautiful and touching things I've seen in a long time. Never stop. Please?

I, being different than you, will never know your anguish yet I know the man you speak of is most definitely beaming in the heavens. You have worked magic with your art, there is poignant symbolism, mastery of craft and your soul in an image, dark sorrow tainted with bright fay hope. Yes dragons are great masters of lore, but fairies have a magic all there own. We all need one another to exist.
