Kana glanced sideways, the heat of the fire burning his skin until his blood felt like it no longer existed, just hissed through his veins in a static buzz. His eyes were now deepening into a burnt red-black, the only noticeable sign of the strengthened presence of his God. Once again, immortal desires warred with his humanity, the blinding rush of life that flowed through him when The Dragon God made contact, a feeling of invincibility, of wind and sunlight. An elation like no other could bring.
They would be making their way up the volcano now. She would be able to hear the roar of the Dragon God's rage, stumbling terrified, blasted by the hot winds that blew incessantly towards the summit. The summit, where the ground caved in and became a bubbling pot of livid, raging, molten rock. The last sensation she would have would be pure heat, beyond anything she had ever felt before. Then she would feel nothing but the ecstasy of immortality as his God took her into his arms.
His face remained stony as the blackened walls around him, though his insides churned at the thought of sacrificing another child in the quest to keep his God alive. He wasn't sure he could look into the eyes of yet another petrified girl. There had to be another way.

COOL BISHIE CAN'T TAKE AMOUNT OF TALENT IN ONE PERSON AHHHHHHHHH! dies for the second time today SO..COOL!...twitch I LOVE the border! Hogg-sama, you have OUTDONE YOURSELF! His eyes are PISSER and I like his colors and his hair and his robe had those cool thinges hanging from them...COOL. o-0 Sam 'Zephyri' Hogg replies: "O.o his eyes are what? I take it that's good... grin thank you, Kb, I am proud of this piece, and it took me about 20 hours in all."

Would those be rubies (my birthstone) he's wearing in his hair, on his neck, on the thingies attached to the metal thingy in his hair, and at the corner of the border covering some of the scarf thing, Zephy-chan? Fun with comments! Sam 'Zephyri' Hogg replies: "Rubies or garnets, which are my birthstone. Thank you for all your (three!) comments! As I said to Kb, this is one of my favourite pieces, as it came out not far from how I'd imagined it. I only wish I knew the name of the artists who inspired the piece, some VERY talented manga artists."

Wow....gfreat watercolours....how do you keep it from bleeding all over the place? ^^;; maybe if I actually gave it a good chance and not get impatient with it...but still this is lovely. I love the line art, it's so very delicate seeming but strong at the same time.... wow....I can't get over how cool Kana looks picks him up and puts him in the shopping cart along with Fate, Shahn, Mikie and the rest Sam 'Zephyri' Hogg replies: "decides a tenebra shopping hall would be close to paradise ooh, think of all the Luces I could buy... mmmm. This one took me a while, and it is one of only two works I am proud enough to hang on my wall. Alot of the detail, inluding the broken effect on the border was achieved through masking fluid. most of the rest was patience and a lust for the end vision. Thanks rilly, the comment was much appreciated."

25 Nov 2004	Lisa Jonsson	Loading... Holy ****! That is beautiful! I simply just don't understand how you get those dragons look like they are made of gold. Do you mix brown and yellow or? And the crystals! This is probably the best I've seen on elfwood done in watercolor - and believe me, I've seen ALOT!
