| 5 Jan 2006 | Timothy Pontious | Loading...Oh, my. I'm repaying your visit to my page, and this is the first thing I find. Both a fine poem and a wonderful artist I had not seen before. When it comes to poetry less is often more and this is a job well done. Samuel V. R. Joseph replies: "Thank you very much! Both for the comment and for repaying my visit (although they're actually the same thing, really... haha) I'm very glad you liked the poem!" | |

| 14 May 2006 | Brian Rich | Loading...Your prolific talents never cease do they? Comedy, epic fantasy, sci-fi and now poetry. Excellent! The only part that didn't really grab me was the first rhyme. It rhymes on paper but not audibly. I know it is probably allowed but that's one of my pet peeves about poetry. I think if it was 'kin' instead of 'kind' it would sound better to me. Just a personal preference, which really can't be considered a critique if it is within the rules of poetry. But the rest of the poem deserves nothing but glowing remarks. Wow, you have excellent rhythmic flow. I've read a lot of poetry here on the woods that struggles with meter but not this one. I could really sense how the dragon felt and the language was creative. Too bad the art gallery link doesn't work anymore. Nice job. Samuel V. R. Joseph replies: "Well I certainly hope they don't cease! =D Heh. Thanks for the wonderful comment! About the "kin" and "kind" -- personally, I like it fine just the way it is, but it's a good point anyway, and I'm glad you brought it up. Thanks again!" | |

Thought I'd let you know that the link to the artist is broken, or rather EW can't find her anymore. Keep up the writing. Samuel V. R. Joseph replies: "Thanks for the comment, Melissa! I'm glad you liked it =) And yes, I shall have to fix that link..." | |
