"Snarl" by Sam Adams

Wow i wish i had a better title!!!

This pic was inspired by Hayley M Lazo from an awesome pic on her gallery (you have to go see it, it's fantastic http://www.elfwood.com/~zeal/Theme-72-Are-You-Challenging-Me-.3576816.html) I just loved the goddess' expression and i really wanted to try to get such a good snarl on one of my Kinra (c) to me!!! Hayley very kindly gave me full permission, so THANKS :D

I tried so hard to get the right lighting/feel in this but as ever what was in my head i had no idea how to do on photoshop so i settled for this. I still quite like it. In the end i decided that the profile looks most like Dannack and i spent ages on his fur to get all the highlights and shadows. The cave-effect in the background is a photo taken by my sis Natalie who gave me full permission to use it.

Dannack lives with his people as refugees in an old mine system. I can only take his shirtless appearance to mean that he has just been woken from a bad dream, probably of the Dreadbeasts that killed his father, but you are more than welcome to put your own story behind it!
