(I was actually intending on drawing something completely different when i started this picture but then my emotions took over and this began to take shape; a caged spirit, it's raging fire within kept locked away inside and unable to break free from the darkness all around. Anyway, enough of that! I'm sorry for the simplicity of the pic, in my head it was much more amazing so i will try to make this pic better if my skills improve enough. Also, i must thank Natty for helping me with the cell and moonlight...i have no concept of perspective!)

i know its odd but yes i really like the pic some will think i’m nuts but i tend to like dark pic a bit

Poor thing, locked up... why?

:-) Sam Adams replies: "Because there are some cruel, cruel people in the world. Well, actually, the original drawing was supposed to be of a mare with her foal, but then my subconscious took over and it got sadder and sadder, ending up as a caged spirit dying to be free...oops1!"

:-) Sam Adams replies: "Um well, this is alot darker than my usual pics, but i guess i was kind of miserable at the time, so what started off as a happy pic ended up as an out pouring of my emotions at the time...as you do1!!!"

So sad and lonely… wow! This piece is really lovely! The light came out awesome on the spirit, and I loved the use of Ocean Soul. Brilliant job! 1

Wow, nice unicorn. I can’t draw them to save my life, let alone with this much emotion.
