"Ice Cream Land" by Samantha Brown

This painting was a commission for a friend.  Her and her parents had a long running joke involving icecream.  She wanted me to paint them as he king and queen of IceCreamLand.  This painting was the result.  All of the ideas included are original from mine or my husbands brain other than the "children stand".  My friend found a photo of it and wanted me to include it.  I do not know the direct source but i tried to make the idea somewhat mine. I was very happy that the painting of them looks exactly like them and both commissioner and receivers were thrilled.  :o)  I have never come across anything like this before and am very happy about how it turned out.  Acrylic on canvas.
