This ones for my friend Tom (or Touchstone, whatever)! It's from this series of books by Garth Nix called ... um... well the series never really had a name, we just called it Abhorsen *shrug* Any way, the girl on the left is Lirael and the words at the top are from when she and seven(?) other people are trying to get the spirit of Orannis of The Destroyer captive again (in a weird spell ritual thingy that involves a sword, hey I never wrote it!). The writing on the sword says 'Remember Nehima', the old sword. The white chick is Astarael (or a shadow of her) and the bell is supposed to be one of the bells of the Abhorsen, but as Tom so rightly pointed out (spoilsport) Abhorsen bells are made of silver, so this is a bell of a Necromancer! BTW the little white thing in the bottom right corner is supposed to be a cat called Mogget! He looks like a squirrel. Oooo look! Coloured pencil!
