I always have terrible trouble with dragons; particularly the head, but I managed to pull off a pretty good one here. I'm quite proud of it, especially the transparent wings. colored pencil, for those who want to know.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!!! The angle of the riders head is awesome as is the dragons!!! The wings could be a bit bigger but its still great. It might be even better if the dragon had front legs of some sort to balance it. Anyways, great work!

it is anatomical structure that makes dragons fly! not magic! and I understand that the wings were cut-off at the end due to lack of room on the paper

Wyvern have long tails, but other than that, a very good and accurate picture

Well done! I love it. It reminds me of Eragon...

Ya you should "Eragon" by Christopher Paolini, if you haven't already

Look at the size of those thighs!!! This is obviously the dragon anologue of an ostrich, so the wings, while pretty, are not used for flying anyway. Run like the wind!

Oh yeah, and he should be seated in from of the dragon's wings or he would be constantly hit by them and would limit movement of the dragons wings. Plus, he wouldn't be able to fight from atop the dragon because of fear that he might hit his wings.

Yeah, I think it is really good but first, I am pretty sure most dragons have from legs and larger wings. Also, without front legs the strap going in front of his chest won't do anything to hold it there because a dragon is constantly moving his neck and it would just slip down. Front legs would keep it from sliding. His thighs are really thick so I don't know if you were going for any ostrich like dragon but if he was going to be a flying dragon his legs should be lighter and his wings bigger. But great picture!

P.S. You really should read Eragon if you haven't. It's the best book ever!

love the dragon so much; his legs and the tension in them look fabulous! but i think the rider’s face looks so young and kinda unexperienced but what can I say; I couldn’t even have drawn a pic half as beautiful....anyway: I really love all your pictures SO much! How much time do you need for one??
