SciFi and Fantasy Art Rainbow Wings by Christina Joy Sanders

Ah, now this one was fun. I was trying a slightly different shading style, which I probably won't use much, but was fun to try. It makes for a nice effect, looks like bright sunshine or sometihng. There is, of course, one rather large flaw in the shading, a shadow that really ought not to be there, which I made while in a 'oh this looks cool' frenzy, with no thought to accuracy. I'll just let you see if you can find it. Those wings were misrey, though, I don't know why I decided to make them like that, but I regretted it pretty quick. it looks nice, but is a pain to draw. Well, lesson learned, don't be expecting any more 'irridescent' pictures from me.

16 Apr 2004	Aeosis	Loading... She has a strong resemblance to another PT(physical training) stud girl from my platoon in AZ. What I love most about this picture is that there is such strength in her stature, yet she is very feminine. That's right, something I learned in the Army is that girls CAN be very strong and very feminine-looking at the same time. I was already very skinny when I entered boot camp, but hardcore physical training toned my muscles and I got in the best shape ever. Sorry for the story but thanks for creating great art! Thanks for the comment! I'm going to Basic in August and I'm kinda terrified, but I want to be like that--strong, you know? Anyway, it's nice to hear from another army girl.
