Urg, this one is weird. I think I was trying to draw a pleasant-looking gril, not a pretty one but a nice plain one, you know, like the kind that the hero in a fantasy story would meet in a town, who'd have no bearing on the plot at all but to give you a feeling for the area. ...Or something like that, don't know. Anyway, I didn't use a scrap of reference, like usual, which means that while the shading is nice, there's that something that's always just a little off about it. I hate that little something, one of these days I'll figure out what it is and kill it, but I'm afraid I'm still hunting for it at the moment, and so it plagues me still.

I love this, but I think the hand and wrist are a bit off. Looks a bit like "Man Hands" from Seinfeld...they shouldn't belong to a young lady.

I think it's a very nice picture and very realistic also! 2 The only thing that's not entierly realistic is the eye really. It's to big and "cartoonish" in comparison to the rest... maybe that's what's a bit off? Anyway, it's a fantastic picture and I like the colour! 2

I believe that little something is the arm. The face and neck and even the shoulders are nicely proportioned. But the arm and hand are a tad too large for the body. And the forearm isn't quite the correct proportion for the upper arm. I love your art so much, though. *huggle*.

This is great. I love those freckles, and the nose looks just fine to me. Congratz on the mod's choice! I'm no expert at anatomy, but I think I remember reading that the top of the ear should line up with the eyebrows, and the earlobe with the bottom of the nose. Could be that the ear (though amazingly rendered) is just a little low on her head. The angled-down position of her head makes it look more like it attaches at her jaw. Just my two cents. I think it's a terrific picture!

This piece is beautiful. I'd like to add it to a tour I'm creating. I'll let you know when it's finished; it will be called 'Freckled Faces and Red Hair'.

Fyre Fairy - She’s NOT a "young lady" - she’s a townie-peasant type and probably works very hard with those manish type hands. Still she can look at and flirt with a handsome hero who happens by. The wheat may make her sneeze, though. Lovely hair.

I think she’s BEAUTIFUL! I’ve always loved button noses, she’s so cute! It looks like she’s planing to do devious things to the next door farmers favorite cow, or something, lol.
