Merry and pippin aint even brothers freak for jesus

I love this picture of the Hobbits. I agree that so many drawings are of the actors, and I really like this because its original and fresh. Well done.

My geuss is that from left to right: Pippin, Sam, Frodo, and Merry. Sam was always close friends with Frodo. Pippin was in a way a goofball and Merry...haven’t really figured him out yet.

my guess is that the one on the left is Pippin and the one with dark hair is Frodo but i cant figure out witch one is Merry and Sam. Sam was close to Frodo but the one one the right looks like Sam. They are all very cute though!

(except for the maddness elf. He reminded me to say that. Blame him. OUCH!!! *sniff* he just bit my finger!!!)

I like this picture more every time I look at it! Good job using your own imagination rather than just copying what the actors look like. They still look like humans to me, but at least they’re more hobbit-like than in the movie version. I especially like the cheerful, rosy-cheeked hobbit faces and the furry hobbit feet (we’re told that hobbits brush their feet, so they must be pretty furry!)

My guesses for who’s who (from left to right)

The blond: Pippin - He’s the youngest looking of the four and has an impudent smile that looks like Pippin.
The light-brown-haired: Merry - His hair’s the right colour. Also, he and Frodo have their arms slung around each other’s shoulders like best mates, which is what Merry and Frodo were in their younger days.
The brunet: Frodo - There doesn’t seem to be any doubt about this. Anyway, he’s the "fairest" and most "elven"-looking of the bunch.
The red-head: Sam - It’s the pony tail: it makes him look more working-class than the others. Plus, he’s sitting at Frodo’s side - right where you’d expect Sam to be!

Wow, this is a beautiful picture! Love them all, although it’s completely different to how I imagined each of them, in terms of eye and hair color - with the exception of Pippin, who is definitely blonde . I’m guessing it’s Pippin, Merry, Frodo, Sam (from left to right). Anyhow, great work, wonderful bright colors, and I wish I could draw like that!
