Link, only just having finished his battle with the white wolfos, his chest still heaving with exertion, looks up to see Sheik standing there. He still does not know whether to trust this youth or not, but feels a distant stirring in his chest whenever they meet and for a moment he simply stares. Who is this stranger, and what is the connection they share?

~eh, sorry, I really am a L/Z shipper, you know, though I don't draw it much anymore. Anyway, I'm very fond of this one, Link's eyes are so clear and pale, like ice, and his complexion is just the way I wanted it, with a hint of pink in the cheeks that of course didn't show up on the scan. I can almost feel him breathing, even though I wasn't sure how to draw foggy breath. Even the icicles aren't bad, since there were some nice ones hanging right outside my window for me to look at when I drew this. The only thing I don't really like is his mouth--it's not so much WRONG as it is wrong for HIM. It's my mouth, I admit, my teeth too. But as I've said before, a mirror is my only real source for reference, so... yeah. My face is all I've got to work with. I don't draw Link much anymore, I suppose, because I can't get the same feeling for his emotions the way I can with book characters, but he's so aesthetic that I still turn to him sometimes just for imagery. Colored pencil.

If you hadn't told me it was Link, I'd've thought he was a she! The face and hair are perfect for a girl, so, in my imagination, all you need to do it change the clothes a bit, and POOF! You have a girl Link. Ehhehhehheh... *sweat* I have a obbsesion with things that even MENTION boys becoming girls. So... Yeah. I kind of snapped up this opportunity to ramble... And in my mind, my stories, girls have swords, use them, and use them WELL. Oh, and one last note: TOO COOL!

Being an older artist, not knowing the character, and just viewing your work itself, I love the eyes. Very good work. Would love to see your current work, and will be looking for a link. I'm sure if you continue to pursue your artwork you will make it big! Lovely talent.

I LOVE Legend of Zelda games 1 like the little speck of blood on his face, rather delicately done for a guy who's just been slaying a load of monsters 10
