SciFi and Fantasy Art Riddle by Christina Joy Sanders

Happy birthday, Kirsten :) Origionally, this was Harry, but as I worked on it it started to get darker and darker until I realized that my perception of Tom Riddle had completely tainted it. I'm not actually quite sure which one of them it is now... I can't decide. I think it's sort of a mental mix between the two, since I love playing up their similarities. Especially the green theme, I find it odd that Harry had green eyes when green is like the evil color in the book. Is Riddle casting Avada Kedavara, or is Harry suffering it? Anyway, I sketched and penned this out on paper, then scanned it in and colored it in photoshop. You can tell, because I could never draw lighting like that by hand, though I didn't use any filters--since I don't have any to use. And this is probably the closest thing I've ever done to pure anime, too.

14 Jul 2006	Anonymous	Loading... I really like it and I can see your point about it being difficult to distinguish between Harry and Tom Riddle. The first thing that I thought was it was Riddle with Harry's eyes (which I'm not quite sure if they're green or not). Another thing is Riddle could be purposefully using his wand to create the green wand-light around himself.
25 Dec 2006	Freak for jesus	Loading... to add to comment above, another idea would be that sence riddle was a memory, there could natural be light around him, you know, like they do in the fairy tales. that was a good thought from you though(the anomyous and I cant spell). I love the pic and at first thought that it might be harry in the grave yard just as he saw Voltemort there when--cant think of his name--died and he was full of anger...just a thought...
29 Sep 2008	Anonymous	Loading... To me, it looks like Riddle. This is AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I am in awe of people who can draw like that. I draw, but it never gets passed sketches, and I’m fine with that. So keep up the A-mazing work!!!!
