||This is a brand new picture, just did it yesterday. I really like it at the moment. A tree fae. I know that a lot of people object to human looking fae, and think they should look completely different and their ears should be enormous, I think there is a whole spectrum of Elven/Fae/Faery things. Some of them look very human, only with an unusual elegance, and beauty, (hence people confusing them). Some of them can sometimes look human and sometimes other, some of them look very strange all the time. Then there's the whole matter of aging, same same, i think it's a spectrum, yes, they are immortal, so maybe some of them sprang to life fully formed, some are born and age very slowly until they are ready to be reborn, start again, some age until they reach the age which is most aesthetically/personality/magically/etc. appropriate (you know how different people are more or less beautiful at different ages? and if you're a siren, it would be difficult if you stopped aging at three I like to think they stop aging at the time in their life which is their pinnacle of perfection, for that particular fae, not to say they all get a choice, it's the magic that chooses. Anyway that's my thoughts on the matter).|
