In the middle ages, it was believed that burning fern leaves summoned rain.

After enduring one of the longest drought periods in history this shaman/druid, took some desperate measures. This huge fern plant was green an very little if not affected by the murderous drought. He resorted to burning the whole plant alive attempting to catch Mother Nature's attention and remind her to pour some rain on those lands. Big Mistake.

That fern plant was one of Mother Nature's most precious and sacred creations, the Fern of Endurance, able to wistand her temper and was able to reason with her when she got out of hand.

The shaman got Mother Nature's attention alright, and he suffered her rage. He was doomed into a million little dropplets of water scattered into the four corners of the World by torrential rains.

Until every little last dropplet is put together he will not regain his form agian.

from my point the picture is like this: first i see a bush, then i see a agonized human form, then i see FAR away a giant tower of blue stuff that is actually watter if my guess is right 2, the background get consumed by the center of the picture. My suggestion would be to not make the tower of light seem that far away, but actually in the same spot as the bush and human and the background a little more arid looking, don’t know some cracks and a dark sky, maintain the background’s color though 2

Your composition is good, and I love the shape and movement of it/

:-) Santiago Rodriguez replies: "I’d like to write the whole story some day! lol too bad I don’t have the skills nor the patience required to do so, so in the mean time i’ll just draw them"
