| 7 Jan 2008 | Matt | Loading...It's a very busy piece, but the fact that theres only ONE person in this picture makes that ok. If you had two people, then you'd need some serious changes for some contrast. Personally I like all the detail, yet at the same time I think you may have gone just a tad overboard. Oh and even if the hands and feet aren't well done, you've got so much detail that it's hard to see what you've drawn for the shape of the feet and the hands. Sort of covers up any lower quality work sections of this piece. | |

| 20 Jun 2008 | Dave Smith | Loading...As a work of realism this isn’t going to win any prizes, but as a work of art it’s extremely captivating. The face, heads and loincloth draw the eye as being extremely well shaped and detailed and the armour hypnotises the viewer. You’re right that the feet are a bit dodgy but I feel your pain - I hate drawing feet. Why are such simple shapes so hard to draw? | |
| 28 Jun 2008 | Megan G. Firestone | Loading...Great detail!
If I tried to do this I would of thrown my pencil at the wall multipul times and my drawing hand would of gone of in serch of a more patient artist!
Great job! | |
