Just like in school, there must always by a class clown and/or practical joker. Saphari is just that; a clown, a joker, a goof-off: most of the time, however, Saphari or "Saphie" to his friends, uses jokes to hide his insecurities. Saphari is a Jub-Jub (based on the poem 'Jabberwocky' by Lewis Carroll), a half bird, half mouse hybrid, who has suffered the worst blow a Jub-Jub could ever suffer: the loss of his wings in battle. Saphari use to enjoy the freedom of flying above the clouds until in a battle with Morgana Ortega caused his wings to be amputated; since then, Saphari has had a personal vendetta in the war against Morgana. Over the years, he has developed a strange side effect from losing his wings; he is able to teleport himself and others from one place to another. He is also an accomplished acrobat. Appropriate for Saphari, he has been given the Destiny Stone of Strength.
