SciFi and Fantasy Art Nessa by Neal R. Haney aka Olo Chubb of Deephollow

His spouse (Tulkas)is Nessa, the sister of Orome, and she also is lithe and fleetfooted. Deer she loves, and they follow her train whenever she goes in the wild; but she can outrun them, swift as an arrow with the wind in her hair. In dancing she delights, and dances in Valimar on lawns of never-fading green. The Silmarillion, 'Valaquenta' I know, I know, she doesn't look like she's dressed to run with deer, but I wanted to show the dancing aspect of her nasture. I did the picture in the Mucha style (sort of). She was fun to design. mechanical pencil, pen, prismacolor.

26 Jul 2004	Ilikecheeeese	Loading... Nessa look beautiful. I love the shading and the beads on her forehead. The colour scheme's great, pink and green don't usually go so well together lol. Her neck is looks a tad too thin tho... Its one of the better pictures of Nessa that I've seen. keep up the good work! Neal R. 28 Jan 2005	Valerie A. Walker	Loading... wow. i love this!! the movement in the skirts is awesome!! very well done. I adore your color scheme here. very nice...really catches the eye. cookies!! I'll have to agree your necks are a bit long, but it doesn't look bad. The rest of the anatomy seems spot on to me!!
