Hello Robert. Seems to be a "neigbourhood convention" ^^.
I normally start with the beginning of the snout. Most of my dragons have the head to the left. Its because I can paint/draw them easier that way. After reading the tutorial about dragons, a was getting a bit better.

You work with a lot of color, I like the eyes on your dragons, they show careful work and detail. I always start with an general idea and the eye is usually the first thing I draw, the rest form around it. Mostly I work with pen instead of a computer program, but as with any source the more you work at it the better you will get.

57 Sarah potton replies: "thank you yes i do start off with the eyes of a dragon first it just makes things easyer for me it helps me to get the shape of the head right well that firedragons just a pratice just to mess around with things on photoshop6 i thought it looked qiute nice when i finished it so i put it on here ^_^ well youl see just what i can do later 12(when the pictures are published)i do draw mostly with pensil its just that iv lost my skech pad with most of my early dragon drawings in it -___- *sigh* time to start a new pad of dragons well my drawings have changed alot from what they where."
