The boy is doing that sterreotypical boy thing where he just feels like he needs to do what he does, no matter if its wrong or right. The girl expressing both the take you mind off it thing or you might enjoy it thing that Gavin James mentioned. But I also think she's expressing something of a "I love him, but not what he's doing" expression.
